Tractor ride weekend

Saturday I went to River Jct,Iowa to a ride. 140 tractors
and 54 miles.Today a neighbor and I went to
Yarmouth,Iowa to the Darbyshire Trucking ride. 48
tractors and 70 miles. Then when we got back, they had
pork chops grilled and a full meal for everybody. Great
day, hi Lloyd thanks for saying hi.

I'll bet that 74 series with the loader rode like crap on the road. I would either take the bucket off or not take the tractor for a ride like that.

About 1200 in 2021, 800 in 22 and about 400 so far this year. Its got about 30 hours on the overhaul and running great. I was able to get it on a dyno over the 4th of July weekend, it pulled 60 hp. Rob asked if I had put in bigger pistons and I said no, its stock. He was impressed and said he wished I lived closer, hed hire me to help him get caught up with his work. Going to Maquota,Iowa Thursday for the Red Rock Threshers ride Friday and Saturday

Good to hear it's running well. I'm hoping to get 4,000 miles on the Powershift 4020 this year, it got 3,100 last year, and has 1,900 on right now. Have the Illinois Bi-County ride next week, and will pull the camper 165 miles one way to Rantoul Illinois Half Century in August. Any chance you will be at Rantoul?

We had 40 tractors on a ride in northeast Nebraska. Sunny day but a light jacket felt good until mid-morning. They had rain the day before so no dust.

Rich, I passed you on Rt. 17 over here by me back on June 26 around 9 am, you were headed west, I was headed east into Kankakee. I will look for you again at Half Century, I was working during the Covered Bridge ride.

Not sure about Rantoul yet. I'm going to Maquoketa, Ia. Thursday for a 2 day ride Friday and Saturday. Where and when is the Bi County ride?

That is a lot of miles! Do you have any idea or do you track your Miles Per Gallon like in a vehicle?

Unfortunately no, that is the two day around Paris area with a slow and fast group correct? I need to look into doing it sometime though.

Both the 560 and 4020 get about 10-12 MPG. The Ford 6000 is better as it's a lighter tractor than the other two.
