Tractor came in pieces. Don t know how to secure the grill top two wing bolts to the radiator area. There are no nut plates. Any ideas? Maybe I am missing a bracket.

I repaired my Jubilee grill.
I used a mig welder to weld in missing pieces
that were cut out to add a hydraulic pump for the
loader.

If you don't have a mig, find a good body shop to
repair your grill.

Or try buying a used one. Someone on YT may sell
you one.

have a new grill without the hydraulic pump cut out and I know how to secure the bottom to the legs but I don t know how to secure the top two wing bolts to the radiator area.

I have a new grill and have removed the hydraulic pump so
that is not an issue. I know how to attach the lower mounts
to the legs but dont know how the two upper wing bolts
attach to the radiator area. Im thinking Im missing some
bracket or nut plate.

You should probably scroll down to the Ford 8N, 9N, 2N forum and ask your question down there. You'll probably get better answers than you seem to be getting here.

Hi davoss, I just worked on this exact same issue yesterday. My tractor was missing the tabs circled in the first pic. I had the body off of my jubilee to replace the fuel tank and thought it s finally time to get these tabs welded on. What I ended up doing was cutting and welding two metal tabs about 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" with 1 inch bent behind the sheet metal and 1 1/2 inch sticking out to mount the grill too. I just used a bolt with nuts as spacers instead of the original grill mounting studs. Previously, I just had the grill zip tied to the body. Please ignore the welding job, to call it amateur would be an insult to amateurs. Just going for function and used a flux core wire feed welder.

I hope this helps!
