Had 4 of them out making hay, thought why not get the rest out and take a picture.

Newest one of the bunch is the Massey...35 years old. Oldest is the 8N at 74.

They all have jobs to do. Maybe not much, but they still get used.

They're kinda like me....getting some age, not pretty, but still manage to get it done.

Here's my old girls;A 1976 IH Farmall triple six,A 1981 Deere 4440 and a 1983 series III White 2-88.Would like to get a White 120/140 or a Deere 4040 with PS.

I presume you don't use the same battery in about 4 or 5 of these. Otherwise, that'd be alot of battery changing around just for a picture. LOL.

Thinking of this, makes me wonder how many people actually do that. So they only have one battery going bad with age, instead of 4 or 5 of them.

That's probably more Fords than we'll get at our show in late July. We're featuring Ford this year, but not a big representation of them by members in our club.

The battery in the wifes car died in the parking lot and after a jump I bought a new one. I hooked old one up to the maintainer and it has been on the portable welder for two years. Tractors hardly ever get new ones around here. Run the fancy charger, maintainer and run it another year.

I run a 4440 Power Shift on a 6-row beet defoliator for a neighbor.
Good tractor. The PS is nice. Defoliator isn't much of a load for it.

You have a nice looking crew.

An old school farmer, 74 years old, about 2 miles east is a Case tractor guy. Most of his tractors are hooked up to something. He cuts hay with one tractor, rakes hay with another, bales with another, and spreads manure. He makes both square bales with one tractor and round bales with a bigger tractor. Another tractor to move round bales.
Each one of his tractors has a special job.
Yesterday he was harvesting wheat and he will be baling straw soon.
AS for me, I keep my tractors inside and use them with the exception of my Jubilee. The Jubile got retired after buying a new Kubota.
