Torque Limiter clutch

I have a Case International 2294 4 wheel drive. Looking to see if anyone knows how to replace the torque limiter clutch.

Pretty simple as they are just like a
regular clutch but don't disengage. You
split the tractor and pull the pressure
plate and disc and replace them. That's a
good time to inspect the power shift seals
and such too. Ask on the case page for
better info.

So how do I go about splitting the tractor

''That's a good time to inspect the power shift seals

On the tractors larger than a 1070 (or thereabouts) the powershift transmission was moved rearward and requires a split farther rearward to access.

I am faced with doing just that with a 1370 and a 2390 this summer.

I'll get 'em lined up so you can help me when you stop by to pick up that CASE garden tractor!

Hello CS welcome to YT! Unfortunately if you have to
ask how to split your tractor a 2294 is probably not the
best tractor to learn this process on because it is a
fairly large tractor. I did a search for ..How to split a
CIH 2294.. and no videos for that model showed up,
but I did not spend a lot of time looking. A 20, 22, 23
or 2590 would all be models you could search for and
of course all the ..94 models. I did see one for splitting
a Case 1070 which would be a predecessor of your
tractor. Number one thing to keep in mind is the main
parts of a tractor are very heavy and when they fall
they do not slow down for human flesh and bones so
make sure whatever you are using to support it is
adequate. I would recommend you go to Farm Manuals
Fast and download a copy of the repair manual for your
tractor for $50. It will be money well spent. I will attach
the online parts catalog for your tractor, which should
be helpful but it is in no way a replacement for a repair
manual. Are you certain your problem is the torque
limiter? All the electrical shifting systems have been
checked out?

In a past era, I worked for a Case dealer and I split several 90 and 94 series tractors.
It's not a bad job, just big pieces. I would say a splitting stand is a MUST!!
Is it a standard/wheatland or row crop? Does it have front weights?
Is the front axle reversed so the front wheels are kinda under the motor???
If so, the front weights MUST come off!! Don't ask!! Wasn't me, but
there was whole bunch of scurrying around for a few minutes.
That torque limiter runs in oil, so drain all the transmission/hydraulic oil.
I think you'll need at least a 30 gallon barrel.
Is that a MFD?? Even more fun!!
