No battery. Is this a crank start tractor?
I wouldn't buy any tractor I have to crank.
Yes, this one is hand start only. The starter would be on this side if it had one

(quoted from post at 04:00:43 06/24/23) I think you are being polite. I think 200 -250
I agree with this. Hand start only, mismatched rear tires, looks like all the sheet metal is beat up, no cultivator lift. Hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like there's no wheel weights and also looks like it might be missing the muffler, oil fill, and air intake stack.

If it was within five miles of home, I might haul it away if they gave me $100. What do they charge for rubbish removal these days anyway? What would you ever do with it if you got it running? About all it's good for is pulling itself.

Locale makes a big difference in price. some folks here would give more than others I would be in the if stuck 200.00 if loose in the 400.00

Where is it located? The seat is not original. Might find some parts you need if you are repairing other A's.

Letter series values have plummeted lately. A good running M with a decent loader is a $1500 tractor, about the same as when my dad bought his in about 1978. Hundred series are doing a little better. I'd love to have an A, B or C just for fun. But the value is pretty low. This one, running and considering no starter, hand crank only, around here would probably bring around $500-$600. Not running, considerably less. The last M I bought not running but loose I paid $200 and it cost me about $50 and a couple hours to get it running good.
