Broken off drive in grease fittings

I broke off both drive-in grease fittings in the front axle of my Cub Cadet. Is it possible to get the rest out so I can change them?

Turn a sheet metal screw into the broken zerk and clamp on a vice grip, then pry it out with a bar. Tap the hole and put in a real zerk.

A lot of the time those things just plain fall out and if I go to dig them out nothings really in the hole. Makes it easy to just tap the hole and go

(quoted from post at 22:35:41 06/21/23) Just drill a new hole right aside of them and tap and screw in some zerks.
Unless you plug the old hole with another zerk or a plug, wouldn't the grease just make a u turn and not go where it is needed?
