Sealed beam lights

Does anyone know which is the flood beam ?

4406 has the wider beam, but I don't know if it as actually considered a ''floodlight'', but I'll bet GOOGLE knows!

The 4406 and 4411 are multipurpose Par 36 bulbs (4-1/2" diameter). According to the WAGNER site the 4406 is 600 candle power and the 4411 is 2500 candle power. The 4419 is a Par 46 bulb (4-1/2" diameter) with 1600 candle power. 4411 is common utility lights.

4411 is brightest, 4419 is in the middle of brightness and 4406 is the dimmest of the three.

4406 flood
4411 trapezoidal.

IMO the flood pattern is just too scattered and diffused in every direction. There is not a lot of useful light when only using a pair of these. Trapezoidal is a focused beam to provide more light in a specific path. Its (advertised) beam is slightly narrower than a flood beam but the beam path is much brighter and reaches much further distances. I found the 4411 still lights up the same area as flood lights, with more light too.

Switch it over to the LED's that fit the rubber grommet or housing and don't look back.Do check the lumens of the light you put in and keep to the brighter ones more lumens and whiter color also. you will not be sorry. they will cost probably about 50.00 apiece. Worthington AG sells them.

Night work requires both flood and focused.

Incandescent bulbs advertise in "candlepower" but LEDs advertise in "lumens." There is no conversion from one to the other, far as I know.

So as far as "What lumens equals 1600 candlepower?" the answer is, "More is better." It's not really relevant anyway because the LEDs end up being so much brighter for so much less power.

Google: Convert candlepower to lumens

To calculate lumens from candlepower, multiply the candlepower by 12.57.
To calculate candlepower from lumens, divide the lumens by 12.57.

I did and all I found were long articles about how it was impossible to convert from one to the other because they didn't measure the same thing, and/or weren't real measurements to begin with.
