Question on Faza fertilizer spreader

Folks I picked up a F300 Faza Fertilizer spreader and need confirmation on instructions. Being Italian made the spreading chart uses meters and Kilometer/hour (km/h) vs feet and mph. My question is are the "application" weights in pounds or kilograms? I assume lbs however when compared to other similar spreading charts of similar spreaders numbers change a lot. I understand these tables are just a guideline but want to make sure Im starting with right weight units to begin with.
thanks

It's probably in Kg/Hectare if the other measurements are metric.
Pretty easy math 1 hectare = 2.471 acres, 1 kg is 2.2 lbs.
You really need to do a manual calibration anyway based on what you are spreading.

From the manual:

Yeah I figured it out. You were right, the "manual" doesn t come say it clearly that ALL units are in metric but the nice sticker on side of spreader does (kg/kph/hectare/etc) so I had a dumb dumb moment.

Josh,
They might give you a chart, but that doesn't tell the whole story.
I had a Lely spreader and tried to develop a chart for it.

Things didn't add up at first UNTIL I realized that the calibration was by VOLUME not weight.

On most spreaders, you are opening a gate which allows a certain volume of material to flow in a given amount of time.

One I realized what I needed, I would find the density of the fertilizer I was using and based my setting on volume.

Hope that makes sence.
Keith

Is it a single disc or twin disc? I wouldn't rely on it spreading accurately out to 22m. You usually have to overlap some
with them. Fines or dust in your fertilizer will mess with the spread pattern.
