Prayers needed please

Hello everyone.
I just wanted to let you all know I was diagnosed with stomach cancer 2 days ago. I have been having a terrible time swallowing
food for just over a month now. I had a scope put down my throat only to discover I have a 1.5 long heap as the doc called it.
So when I swallow food it irritates that heap and sometimes I can't keep anything down. I was told that the stomach cancer I have
is VERY treatable. I won't know more until later next week until I see my doc as to what path I take from here. I have been told I
need surgery first, radiation and then chemo. See what happens at my next appointment for sure. I am going to be 55 in 2 months.
Yes, I probably am young to many of you on here, perhaps old to some of you, or in your age range also. I guess you never know what
is in store for yourself. My wife is a 3 year breast cancer free lady as of now. Now I am in her shoes as far as the cancer journey
begins for me. I will try to let everyone know my next step for prognosis. For now, I am just asking for your thoughts and prayers
please. I am leaving this in God's hands now. Thank you for listening. Kow Farmer Kurt

Kow, I'm only a short distance away. Let me know if I can help in any way. I could tell when we visited that you've got the attitude to beat this. Just a small bump in the road. I got a good feeling about this.

A couple of days ago on a morning syndicated radio show. The Bob and Tom Show it was reveled that Bob was diagnosed with stomach cancer on Good Friday. He has stated a Podcast titled The Bob and Cancer show. You might want to listen to his Podcasts. I think there is 6 available online right now. He's doing very well after Radiation and Chemo treatments. In a couple of weeks the Drs. will remove the cancerous growth in his stomach. Good luck with your treatments.

You can beat it. Listen to a good team of doctors and follow their advice. It will be a learning experience and may test your resolve and patience. Just stay calm and adjust to the upcoming changes. I was 54 at my diagnosis, prostrate cancer for me. This Thanksgiving will be 6 years.

Hoping and praying for nothing but the best. There was a post on here sometime ago, a blog, whatever that is, called My Cancer Story Rocks. Its long, but pretty informational. I am sure you can find it on the internet, sorry I dont have the link.

Thoughts and prayers for a full recovery. Youve got a great attitude about it, and thats a big part of the battle!
