We Need Rain

Havent had a good rain in over a month here in Western Illinois. Crops are hurting, heres the neighbors corn and wheat.

That green patch in the wheat is what the whole field should look like.

This is my yard. The only thing doing good is the Sweet Clover that is taking over the CRP

you look worse than we do. We are supposed to get some this weekend. Hope so. I would like to mow hay though. Have not started that yet. Would not take long to do once started. Mow a couple pieces and open the bigger field. Then mow it the next day. Bale it all in 2 days, then take about 2 or 3 to put it away.

Im still trying to drill. CRP keeps raining every two or three days shower came in this afternoon. Got the seed truck stuck. I was at the other end of the field, and before I could get back to where the truck was, it was muddy

we were very dry. mowed raked n baled thick grass hay yesterday. woke up at 3 to thunder.its rained since 330 am and still coming down at 430

I don't think I've ever seen it this dry in June here in central NY, but it looks like you've got it worse.
