I helped the neighbor plant the potato patch yesterday

my wagon,,but not my 88,its the neighbors,,rrlund will remember it from many previuos pictures

I rode on the planter,,watched to make sure the pieces were dropping and picking up,,,and raised and lowered the handles at the end of each row

I LIKE that rusty ol' tater planter. :)

I still remember the Grandma Edna... she was an admirable woman. Would have loved to chat with her.
 
Its extremely dry there for this time of year,the farmers are worried

I planted what I Ever I Had,,lol

Of course,,some pattypan,,,,and some spagetti,butternut,zephyr,yellow,acorn
And some cantelope,sugar baby ,yellow watermelon
Some beets,and some cukecumbers

Whatever works ,works,,lol

gets a free cultivating twice,,and hilled at the end,,so,,if we get rain,,it ,,,might work

last year I Did one close tuneup with the hoe,,it worked,,we got one really good picking,,,but then the drought set in,never got a second picking

Every year is different ,,sometimes it works,,sometimes not,,just like doing it,,the seeds really dont cost that much,,the seeds were sale items from last fall

And some we saved seeds for this planting madness,,lol

You could say,,Im a nut,,,because,,,you would be spot on
