generator is charging.

checked to see if it was charging this morning, and it was a yes, from original generator and regulator.

hat is great & I am lucky enough to have a 1954 Farmall , all original , that still works, too, for a voltmeter, your device is fine, but don't believe a word it says as a battery load tester. It loads at 17 amps and a starter load will be closer to 300amps and a "real load tester" will draw 400 amps.
 
i been using it for years and it works just fine. it takes more than 17 amps to turn that stove element red in it. i use it for load testing
batteries.

t is fine if you only want a tiny load test.
