When I was 16 I did chores for a neighbor while they took a 2 week trip to California. He had just bought 2 new Massey Ferguson snow mobiles and he told me I could ride all I wanted while he was gone. It didn't snow the whole time they were gone. All I got to do was admire them and imagine how much fun it would be. :-(

I was 10 years old in 1972 when dad bought ours. Ray Down's MF dealership in Knox, IN. Still have it in a shed on my farm. It was fast until neighbor bought a Liquafire JD, that WAS FAST!! I could keep up if he broke trail.

I have 5 Massey Ski Whiz in the barn. I could build three good ones out of what I have but I have never got around to it , just too busy with
other interests. Maybe the grand kids will get at them and I'll help. I did drive one around a few years back , it ran well. I have a '74 TNT
in my shop and a Ski Doo formula at the farm. It hasn't been out in two years. I keep saying someday...

J W are you still in the Knox area? I live in Pulaski County just South of Bass Lake. Buy you a cup of coffee? Joe email open

Yes sir. Still teaching Ag. Ed at NJ-SP H.S.! Live near Mark Bailey's Discount store. Went to your profile and did not find your email. Try mine. GeorgeinTH and I went through this also.

I bought one for $3.00 when I was 12.
Middle of summer got it running and road
it up and down the grass alley behind the
house. Head gasket blew on it sold it for
$25. Never rode it in the snow.

Thanks for that. I bought my first new snowmobile in 1973. It was a Massey Ferguson ski whiz 344t sport track with a black hood. Great sled wore it right out. Thanks for
bringing back some great memories.
