Yikes! A 190XT gas guzzler, and an early one. With some interesting options- belt pulley, and front hydraulic outlets. And one I
don't like- the narrow front. But it sure is pretty.

seen 2 tri cycle front 190's. neighbors dad ordered a 190 gas not xt
series .seems like it used 6 gallon gas per hour plowing

I like Narrow fronts on some tractors. Yes they don't go in mud as well. I just like the looks of them. this happens to be one of them. I thought about putting a narrow front on the 806 in the past. They will turn around on a dime and give change back unlike a wide front.

I think it even has snap coupler hitch instead of 3 point. 30 years ago that was a $1500-2000 tractor with
all the odd ball options. Today it is worth over $10,000 to some collectors. My grandfather had a new 190xt
and 6 bottom plow. The thing I dislike about them is no independent pto. Tom

When I got ahold of Dads JD 2510 I replaced the roll-o-matic (which is the only narrow front I would even consider having) with a wide front. I couldn't hardly give the roll-o-matic away.

I look back with surprise that some hung onto that snap coupler as long as they did. I don't know if it was the dealers, the blockmen, or what? All the series IV D17s around here had three point. But I've seen them on line with the snap coupler.
Having grown up on a WD45 with a smooth, easy operating hand clutch, PTO duty was no problem. That went out the window when they switched to a hydraulically controlled 'hand clutch'. I probably would have injured someone back on the wagon behind the baler, if they didn't come forward and harm me first!
