New Michelins

Over 9000 hours and 31 years on the original Goodyear Dura Torques on my Magnum 7130 when I replaced the inner duals with some new Michelin Agribibs. The inner duals were actually still good and break free but the outers had some bad breaks between the lugs, probably from canola stubble wear. So we put the old inners on as duals while replacing the original inners with new Michelins. Tremendous difference in tread depth and it should be noticeable out in the field when I hit the wet ground. Got some video too.

Those dyna torque were a good tire . Had a set of agri bib on a dt225 agco and they split at the sidewalls they lasted 13 years before they started to split which Is a long time for a modern tire

13 years does not seem like a long time for a tractor tire but then I might not need them that long either. I noticed the sidewalls on the new Michelins seemed pretty flexible compared to the old Goodyears

I put a set of four Michelins on my 2wd 7120 last summer - real pleased with the improved traction.

Anyone know why modern tires degrade so much faster than the old ones?

They used to say the agri bib was the only tire that was
round enough to take the high speed of the newer
tractors . And no 13 years isnt very long compared to.
The old tires

all i know is i got some Firestone 13.6-38 [Gum Dipped] there almost 60 years old and they will last another 10 i figure if i keep it inside, sunlight is the worst thing for cracking a tire, and most Co_op tires, crack real quick !

That i don't believe, they grind em up and recycle them, there a lot of steel in a tire, why would u want to bury that???
