Cone washers

Saw recent post about cone washers. My son has an 1958 Dodge truck that we are doing a brake job on. The cone washers were not split and they were a bear to get off. Does anyone know of a source for the split cone washers? THANX!

Official name is drive flange wedge.

Used on millions of applications for a
hundred years

Yes, most truck and auto parts places can
get them if you supply the part number.
I have attached a chart with dimensions
and part numbers for interchange

I never saw any that weren't split. How would they even do anything? Are you sure there isn't a split in them that maybe molded itself tight and you can't see the split? Either way you need new ones.

Thumping axle shaft a couple times with a hammer in
essentially the wrong direction to get it to bounce on OTR trucks is how I usually pop them out.
That dodge is like twice my age so no idea if that was the plan back then. If its been together even half that long I bet they might be one solid rusty washer

Thanks everyone!!! I have some research to do now. Not gonna buy 16 of these ( at 60 bucks a piece!!!
