Neat picture!

I remember when I was a little kid my maternal grandfather and his neighbors threshed with a steam engine. I always loved the smell of coal smoke.

Wonder about the date of those machines. Steam engine ,pull type ? 1910 ? Car, 1920 ? Are there 8 men on threshing crew ? 2 on engine crew . What say you.

Because i had a cold drink of water down at the road where our lane started the engineer let me ride up the lane and blow the
whistle as we passed by the house at my mother standing out in the yard. The smell of the smoke will always be remembered
