FORD 4000 NARROW FRONT 3 CYLINDER

Are there Ford type 4000 tractors with the 3 cylinder engines that are narrow front and they are the higher type platforms.???

Yes, theres a gas one about 25 miles away from my home I saw on a trip Wednesday to Michigan.

Yes, three cylinder gas and owner still uses it far as I know. Not common to see the flat deck 4000 and 5000 models around here.

Yep.
Ford made them 1966-75
Cool tractors if you don't have to get on and off them a lot.

I drove a rowcrop 4000 in highschool. It was gas and had a wide front with (Selectospeed)10 sp powershift.Pretty sure you could get those tractors in about any configuration you wanted.

The end of the 4 cylinder Fords was 1964.
The 3 cylinder tractors came out in 65 except... the 3 cyl 4000 RC was in 66 and the 5000 RC not until 67.

If you go to look up parts, they go by the model number 4200 or 5200 though the decals still say 4000 or 5000. Here is a picture of our 5200 wide front...

It's not a 4000, but this one belongs to a friend I help with haying. It was the first new tractor his parents bought
