You couldn't do that here right now. The frost is about an inch below the surface. I had a get a bull in the trailer yesterday and had to back up on sod for a ways. I made a heck of a mess. Threw mud 50 feet.

Couldn't do that here either. I haven't seen grass since October. Most of it is under about 4 feet of snow right now! More snow falling right now and into the night.

And the boys are using gravity to unroll the round bales.
I'm guessing a horse owner needs square bales.

(quoted from post at 08:10:43 03/22/23) That has to be grass that stood over the winter. Everything's still brown.

I know onelonleyfarmer would be baling mulch hay all winter long as long as it didn't snow too much.

Look close at the pictures, they are unrolling and re-baling rounds into squares.

Yes he does,,this is a farm/estate just down the road from us,,one lonely farmer is 35 miles from us,,but he does come this far to bale,,but not this farm

I don't see anything that would make it obvious that that's what they're doing. This is another one of those deals like the "Sixth Sense" where you were supposed to notice that Bruce Willis was wearing the same clothes through the whole movie (even though he wasn't) and conclude that he was dead. I mean how could you NOT have noticed? What are you STOO-PID?

To me it looks like they're round baling and square baling out of the same field.

Sorry, wasn't trying to offend you. I saw the guy down the hill, in the first picture, with a partial round in front of him and the guy in the last picture with an open round in front of him at the top of the hill.
