I must have been a lot tougher than I am now. I rode along with a friend on this open 3020 to pick up a one way disker. It must have been close to a 40 mile round trip. The old 3020 rolled along pretty fast for a tractor. I can't recall suffering from the cold but you can see there was still a bit of snow left to melt in this picture I took on the way home.

Let me guess............your friend had a Heat Houser for the 3020 in the shed. But you two kids thought the tractor looked better without it? Lol

No this one never had a heat houser as it did not see much winter time use. Would have been a big improvement in comfort for a trip like that.

(quoted from post at 07:43:56 03/21/23) In those days, you didn't even think about it. You just did what you had to do. And somehow we all managed to survive!

My doctor told me just three weeks ago that I have developed a condition that causes my capillaries to constrict when cold so that my toes turn blue and bruises won't heal. So just possibly some of us really are bothered more now than we used to be.
