Snow melting!

The snow is finally starting to melt. 1st picture is last summer, 2nd picture is yesterday looking at the same spot. Couple weeks ago couldn t see hardly anything on these tractors. 3rd picture is full size Ford pickups. The red 1 that you can see the most of is a F-5. Come on spring! South east South Dakota.

We look like your first picture yesterday and this morning. Supposed to rain the next few days. Been a long time since we have had a mud season like this year has been. Not sure what to think on that part. Being it is the middle of March we could still get more snow and freezing ground.

That snow depth reminds me of a Jeep commercial years ago where the Jeep was burrowing thru the snow like a mole, came up to an intersection and you could see red glowing in the snow from the brake lights.

Whiskey, my son used to work at the John Deere facility in Valley City. You anywhere near there?
Biggest snow weve had this winter was a couple of inches. Two days later it was gone

Rare for central Illinois. DP

Not much melting here yet either. Looks
like it's going to start melting in Ernest
soon. Pic is from last weekend.

I plow the snow off my driveway onto the
lawn. Have a pretty big pile this year.
I doubt it will all be gone till some time
in May.
Here is a snap shot of the sidewalk across
the street from my house this morning.
We had quite a bit of the white stuff this
year.

Cannot even imagine that. If heat and humidity were visible it would look like that in the summer here. Every place has it's drawbacks. In Charleston SC.

50 here yesterday. Finally got a new fan belt on the skid
loader. Almost 4 hours fighting it. I finally cut a slot in
the fan shroud. Up till yesterday AM, it has been snow and mud.
Its raining again right now. The bees will be back from
California sometime in the next 3 weeks. I sure hope it dries
up before the gals get here. Been charging the batteries on one
tractor, gonna start on the farm cart tomorrow if it isn't too
wet, snowy, etc outside. I want to put 2 new tires on my bale
trailer, its been too muddy to jack it up. Oh well maybe in a
couple of weeks it'll all get done.

Ron if it showed like snow in July and August it would be 15-20 ft deep here.
