Massey Ferguson 85 Parts

Hi there. I fell into this 1959 MF85 and am quickly realizing how difficult it is to find parts for it. Does anybody out there have any clue as to where the best place I can look is? Particularly looking for tie rods as my boneheaded self pulled everything apart without getting the parts in my hand and now I have a tractor that cant steer in my shop. None of my local guys in NW Ohio have anything and I haven't had any luck online. Thanks in advance

Upper left hand box at top of this page. Under MARKETPLACE select Tractor Parts then Massey Ferguson. Navigate down to Steering and look for the items you need.

(quoted from post at 18:57:21 03/14/23) I did try that already, Yesterday's Tractors doesnt have any Tie rods listed. Thank you though

You might want to post this on the Massey Harris and Massey Ferguson Forum, you will find down the index page a bit. There might be someone there with info, that doesn't check this forum.
Here is a link to it.

Allstates Ag Parts, Steiner Tractor Parts, Wengers, and Roberts Tractor along with several more have tie rods and other front axle and steering parts listed for the Massey Ferguson 85.

For the telescoping one if you find a regular tierod the taper fits the eye then cut the old end off and weld the new one on then U just fit the end to the pipe by grinding a notch in the rod where I need it to fit. For the threaded end I just find a threaded one to fit the threads and taper from whatever will fit then use it. It may be for a Yugo to a semi to fit. Then just write it down for the next time.
