Just a reminder if you plan to attend. Activities are no longer held at the auction park. They have been moved to the former Military Museum on west side of the interstate. I am not a member of the club. I just post this info to help them out.

Ahhh i been there for their saw mill show,i enjoyed it,but that time i was in the area, and had the time.Some body had their M Farmall on the saw mill cutting a big log, it pulled it down some,then they put the Steamer on,and the chug chug chug,must of sheared a shear bolt as i remember, but a fun day!
 
Unfortunately there was a state trooper killed south of Auburn on I 69 trying to help make a traffic stop. His funeral will be in Auburn- don't know what day. I only mentioned this because it's also in Auburn.
 
If it is still in use now local guy had a Saw mill with a D-7 cat engine on it. Would talk when you run a 2-3 foot log through it 15-20 foot long.
 
I think you are confusing this show with a different show. Have been attending for years. It is indoors and I do not recall ever having an operating saw mill at the show. They do not even allow engines to run inside.
 
John, I will not be attending this year. I had a new knee installed 3 weeks ago. I walked thru the place yesterday and talked to a few of the club members. My new knee is just not ready for more than a quick walk thru.
 
Are you confusing New Haven that is just east of Ft Wayne with Auburn that is a bit farther North of Ft Wayne. Aubern has always been completely inside. New Have does have a sawmill and steemers. and id later in summer. Both nice shows but I have not been able to make either for several years.
 
This was North of Ft Wayne along the interstate,The sign said Auburn, they use to make cars there 100 years ago according the sign along the Interstate!!!!
