Not much help except for flying horse history.

In Greek mythology, Pegasus a winged horse carried thunderbolts for Zeus.

A date stamp of some sort. It has ten numbers and a dash for stamping a date such as 3-4 which just happens to be my birthday. Kind of strange though that the numbers are at a 45 degree angle to the axis of the tool.
