Here is the next update. Sorry it took so long to get another but the weather is being a nuisance so this is the first time I actually got to work on it in a while. Unfortunately me seat platform is rusted through in the center and the seat has a few cracks in it. :?
What I did today was attack the moss on the hood with sand paper. Taking your advice and working on the sheet metal while waiting for parts.

And the other thing, I straightened out some of the bends in the front rims.

And just in case your interested, here are some pics of a NOS dash for the B I picked up because some do it yourself machine installed light in the hood and drilled a hole on ether side and for a amperes gauge, which it didn't have when new, so it won't now.

Hood looks good. I have found that using a fill and sand primer several
times helps smooth out small rust pits. Then, with the final paint, it will
look as good as the dash. Great work so far!

scotch brite pads and water are the cats meow for that. sandpaper is not the thing to use. sandpaer is for wood. i see the front rims have
been re-rimmed also. the spokes are welded in on them. from factory they are rivited.

On those rims/wheels take your hand and run it around the dies of them where you have to pry the tire over for nicks and dings. Any sharp ones need to be filed off so you don't cut the tire bead or the tube when putting them on. It will probably be easier to pry the tires and tubes on with the wheels on the tractor to hold them still if they will not fit over a tire machine spool. Don't use dish soap for a lubricant on them either it rusts the steel. Use a tire mounting product or put them on dry. Murphy's works well. IF you put them on tubeless you can use it to seal the gap for seating the beads also. I think you could use vinegar to get the moss of easier by just soaking it.

You are pretty dedicated, working outside in that cold weather. Snow is something we have gotten very little of, and the
weather has finally warmed up. Got my oats planted yesterday (son was planting his and volunteered to plant my 21 acres).
I did do all the prep work, fertilizer, harrowing, myself. Keep up the good work and keep us informed on your progress.

CAT! I would rather feed a cat than a rat. But they have their place and on top of my truck, tractor, lawnmower, 4 wheeler is NOT their place. Can you tell that is a pet peeve of mine! :p

Good job on everything else and your shop resembles mine, outside!

Thanks for the tips. And yes, I am lucky to have one with an uncut hood and in such good condition. And it is more than dedication, it is in honor of my Great Great Uncle who gave it to me. I want it done so he can see it before he passes on. I also have a deadline for august 2024. I want it done by then and I want done right, so I can't waste spare time sitting around indoors with a cup of coffee.
