Case 1845c hydraulic problem.

I was splitting wood with my skid-loader it started losing hydraulic fluid. I shut it off and opened the rear door, it looked like it was running out of the hydraulic filter seal. It has about 350 hours on the filter. What are the chances it's just the filter seal?

I'd guess the filter is plugged up causing the problem.

i have the same skid steer, do you know if the light came on the panel for the hyd ? i would replace and see what it does and keep a eye on it. at least that the cheap side of the hyd on the skidsteer.

For some reason after 350 hours the filter came loose. I had checked engine oil, looked at the hydraulic filter and no signs of oil on it. Twenty minutes later it started leaking, hopefully I got it shut off in time.
