Here's what I get.

The file seemed OK when uploaded, I'll look into it. It was a collage of different views of the PTO, mostly in pieces.

re-done, try this:

It's from a 1991 Deutz-Fahr Dx-6.05. Meanwhile, we just finished dismantling, [b:1f0552a37f][i:1f0552a37f][u:1f0552a37f]whadda mess[/u:1f0552a37f][/i:1f0552a37f][/b:1f0552a37f]. Here's the plate from the PTO The clutch is like sections of a V-belt in a V-pulley squeegee.

I'm gonna clean up the parts, the blacksmith is meanwhile ordering the bearings (ALL 6 are shot). Plus there's one huge bearing that IS the the activation ring. I hope to get an image up tomorrow, it looks like it'll be a problem getting one.

Hope to see updates.

Duetz has entered and left the USA market so often no one wants to claim them any more. Very hard to find a supply stream, its - we dont deal with them any more
sorry.....

Werent they part of Agco about that time period? Or what is now Agco?

Above works fine.

Walts Tractor Stark City Mo may be of help if you can't figure it out.

Deutz was the first internal combustion engine but I know little of the tractor story. Found this: "In 1995 Deutz-Fahr joined the Italian Group SAME/Lamborghini/Hrlimann to become the SAME Deutz-Fahr Group, now the SDF Group." As far as I know ownership doesn't mean much anymore, the factories are staffed by the same people as before.

Back to my PTO, I was expecting shot gears and clutch 'disks' impossible to soucre. Lo and behold gears are all good and there's no clutch discs, but this other type of clutch V-sections that I've never seen before and have no idea where to buy (current ones are still good though). The company that made them seems to have vanished, one by the same name makes only linear motors or something. The Sauter outfit makes front-PTO's and one model is a replacement for this one but the new price is waaaaay above my pay-grade so we repair things around here :)

(quoted from post at 22:51:40 02/16/23) Apparently Mr. Duner uses the Imgur app or program, so I suppose that is why the photos open correctly for him. If not he must be using some other magic.

Imgur AFAIK is a youtube wannabe, they host images or videos for members, but also non-members under certain conditions. No magic involved. When I first uploaded the image it was all there, I cannot explain how it got degraded to a partial but hey, the net IS a swamp, things doi fall apart regularly. I uploaded the image again and it really should just work now with any web navigator. Perhaps yours is using the cashed incomplete image, clear the cache if you can, that might be a fix.

...looks like it'll be a problem getting one.

I'm publishing this for the benefit of anyone who might in the future desparately google foir info:

andergraaf did make this PTO but stopped production 25 years ago, they no longer make any. They refer customers to

---------------------------------------------
Zuidberg Group of Companies
Buitenveld 5 | 8307 DE Ens | Nederland
Tel +31 (0)527 253 550
---------------------------------------------

whom I have not yet approached, but soon will.

(quoted from post at 17:39:56 02/17/23) Thanks for the update! I hope you find something.

All the bearings except one are widely available I think, it's the big mama that may not be. Worst case scenario, my local blacksmith buys one of the same size and then turns an outer race like the old outer race for it. These things are very hard for all I know, but so is he so I'm confident he'll know what to come up with.

Front PTO popularity is going ballistic around here, mostly for snow-blowers. When asked how come there are so few front PTO's that can handle more power my Sauter dealer told me "I have no idea, we keep telling them that customers are screaming for double capacity but they don't seem to have any answers".

This one has a flimsy rubber coupling on it, and a clutch that I wouldn't put on a Harley. I wouldn't trust it for more than about 200 ft-lbs of 1800 rpm torque. I'm really looking for at least twice if not thrice that and am holding back on a planned engine upgrade until I find and adapt one.

Addendum 2023-02-23
Got it cleaned up ready for 2 seals and 7 bearings and reassembly. The +/- 5" ID bearing serving the clutch cable/lever is not to be found but my blacksmith will make a new ring with the stubs and press-fit a common ball bearing of that size into it. All in all its not a bad (drum brake) design but it's too weak for my needs so I'll probably sell it as soon as I find a stronger one. Sauter make one that's good for 170hp (150 continuous if I read it right) but there's very little by way of drawings to see if I could adapt it.
