This Eddie, a rare, one of a kind, only one to exist, wood burning tractor. It is on display in Ishpeming, MI at Da Yoopers World Headquarters.

GO HUSKIES! My late, great Dad was born and raised in Calumet, MI. His brother, my uncle, taught Economics at MTU and Sumi College, then at Northern MICH in Marquette. we used to go to the Keweenaw every summer. Haven't been to da UP in 5 years now that my girls are grown and my last aunt passed away. Try TONY'S for pastys in Laurium.

Was Stationed at K.I. Sawyer at Marquette and would go to Ishpeming to party, I think there was a statue of old Ish an Indian, in town, Heard about a guy from the Base roped the Indian and pulled it down. Got to go to Jail.
 
Looks like an Imbert style gasifier mounted on the remains of a John Deere, Oliver, and truck rear end with a Ford six engine. Nothing new, my dad operated wood burning tractors in Holland during WW2 and built his own here in the 1980s. It's in my shed now....
