It was to cold to work on the tractor today so this is all that I got for this update. Once again if their is any advice you can offer, feel free.

Looking at how bad the original ones were I think he made the wise choice.

Good that you found replacements. Otherwise, would be an interesting project cutting the spokes and welding on new rims. Have to build a fixture to hold it true for welding. I've done it with stamped centers but never with spokes.

Glad you got the rims. I really think that was the way to go. They came off a John Deere B that I restored and I bought a pair of factory rounds for it. The
rims run true just need to switch out the races and the bearing caps good luck. If you need any help please contact me. Thanks, Mark

Once you get the rims Mark sent you cleaned up and repainted they are going to look really sharp. Have you thought far enough ahead what tractor
or implement youre going to refurbish next?? Wingnut

Yes, I have thought about it. Their are two more. A JD 52 Plow and my Dads 1938 Case RC, which He's going too sell to me after the B is done.

U could go 550 maybe 600.? Nothing bigger as it wont
look right on that small tractor. Keep in mind they need to
match the size u are going with on the rear.

The wheels sure look good compared to the old ones. Sometimes if you get a large crescent wrench, and bend the flat spots back to shape, it works better
than hammering on them. I don't think my cats would survive in the snow. Stan

As far as I know they never made a front tractor tire in any
thing bigger than a 5:00x15, for bigger you had to go to a 16
inch rim. 5:00x15 what I had on my 46 B from factory new.

Those old ones could always have new rims welded back onto them. That is what I did with my unstyled B.
