I have a 100 gallon tank for cooking only. They put in around 78 gallons last week at 5.34 a gallon if I remember correctly.

Demand is down due to the mild winter many areas are experiencing... We should be in the coldest stretch right now here in Western NY and the temps are in the upper 30s to lower 50's for the next 10 days.

I got my utility bill for my house in town yesterday. Used 40% less natural gas and 1/2 the electricity, but the bill was only 12% lower than the same month last year.

According to the bills, average temp was 19 in 2022 and 30 in 2023.

I use fuel oil, but it looks like locking in to a price at the beginning of the season wasn't the way to go this year. It usually is. I remember not long ago in an unusually cold winter, folks were using more than they were allotted under the prepay agreement and had to pay a lot more for what it took to get them through. They accusations were flying all over the internet on that one.

That is what I call sticking it to a guy, home delivery here if owns the tank around $1.65 or so. Middle Tennessee

Same here, World demand is down and gas prices are going down
too.
February is typically the coldest month. Not this year.
Natural gas is down and some say fertilizer prices have fallen
too.

Delivery I got last week was for $2.20 a gallon.
South Central PA.

May I reiterate a recent post that it may be helpful if users write where they are located. With some things like weather or fuel prices it provides context.

$2.29/gallon + tax in Adams Co., Ohio

Past a CNG station in Houston Sunday morning. Price on the sign was $1.97. You would figure that price included the road tax but I really dont know how that works on Natural Gas or if it is even sold on the gasoline gallon equivalent. But if so that would put the price in the $1.50 range for no tax fuel.

I do not know about everywhere, but my supplier will charge more for a smaller tank vs a 1000 gal tank Or if you own tank or lease. It costs supplier just as much,(time and millage) to fill a 1000 or a 100 gallon tank. joe
