Finally got to drive the 'Jigsaw Puzzle ' B . Almost done. Bought it October 15. Opened the motor up end of October. Got the parts in the barn January 10th. Here we are February 8th.

We cleaned the motor, soaked it with transmission fluid and decided that Deep Creep and Free-All would work better. It took a couple weeks and it broke loose. Cleaned it some more, ran a hone down each cylinder and she's running. Had to remove all the valves, clean them and lap them. Good oil pressure, no smoke. Runs great. Old Farmalls want to live!

Kevin. You and your pretty wife have a God given talent. Id say you are both the CUB WHISPERERS! Not too many people male or female can take a trailer full of nuts and bolts and parts and pieces and turn it into a running tractor. Great job. Wingnut

Keep doin' what you're doin', it is working for you. You two should be proud of yourselves. May God continue to bless.

J Hamilton..... Nope, I just got so excited to work on it that I didn't notice....... I will eventually swap the tires.

Great job! I'm having a hard time visualizing that the cylinder with fluid in it would clean up and hold compression.

RB ... Amazing, ain't it? Zero smoke, good compression. Ran the tractor up and down the road for 30+ minutes yesterday and then let it sit in the yard running at a fast idle for another 45 minutes..... Just as sweet running as a new one! It's better to be lucky than good!
