My paternal grandfather smoked unfiltered Camels. Tasted like what comes out of the back end of a real camel!!

My Dad smoked those too. Spent the last years of his life with a trach. due to throat cancer.

Ditto for my dad.
He was a lifelong pipe smoker, and came down with cancer of the throat at age 72. They did a tracheotomy and removed his voice box. He spent the last 14 years
of his life holding an electronic gadget next to his throat to talk. It was a mechanical sound, but at least it was communication.

It is Wednesday, and my dad smoked filterless camels for many years. He quit the day he couldn't climb to the top of the silo without stopping the first time. That also coincided with my mother having breathing issues due to is smoking in the house. He did mange to quit and never had cancer from it. He lived 15 or 20 years afr he quit.
