Anyone from the Long Island N.Y area?

Hi. Any antique tractor enthusiasts on Long Island of where I'm located? Would like to find indoor workspace. I have a JD model B with a steering issue and know what needs to be done to make it right. Initially I figured I could work on the tractor inside my shed of where it's currently parked except having second thoughts. Right now it's drivable. Currently no side supports and an overhead beam where a chain-fall could be used to raise the front end. Not easy when doing alone especially in a cramped space. I've secured replacement steering parts from great people on this board. I would like to find a place indoors to work on the tractor. Possibly someone that knows someone with a shop or where I could rent space until the job is finished. I have a chain fall and tools at my disposal but no overhead beam as mentioned. Thanks in advance.

Set the brakes and jack it up. If the bolster will come off from the shaft in the nose I would do that, since it is easy to get out with less height and weight.

Hi--I am from the Moriches area but don't have a place available--i will check around and see what i can find

Don't know of any empty shop everyone is working, most guys are 2-3 tractors deep trying to get them done for spring.
Had 50F here on LI. and the temps look warm for the next couple weeks No snow on the ground dress warm and go for it.
