Today is my 15th birthday, me and my Dad share our birthday. This is the cake that my mother made for me. It's supposed to be the 1943 John Deere logo so it's the same year as my B.

Most of us on YT can't even remember when we were 15! nice to have some younger folks on here. Your posts indicate you have your priorities in a good order.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Happy birthday. A lot of the YT crowd were already kicked out of grade 5 at fifteen years of age for not shaving.

Happy Birthday, Drew.
My Grandfather had a 1938 B and then a 1951 B. My cousin has that tractor, restored.
15? That was 65 years ago for me but I still have memories.
I have owned 2 JDs. A basket case Model 50 that I sold as a basket case and a used 314 lawn
tractor that I never used. Buy and sell.
I'm a Ford guy. I have the 1951 8N that my Father bought (used) when I was 10. This summer will
be 70 years that I have been driving it. The engine was rebuilt 3 times, tractor painted twice,
one new clutch and it's on the 3rd set of tires.
One irritating problem with it. The seat width has shrunk.
I have several other Ford N's. Some need serious attention.
Don't be offended by my last statement, here It is for tractor rivalry/harassment. The only thing
green and yellow in my yard is grass and dandelions. Enjoy your JD.

Happy birthday, young man.

I think your mom is pretty special to make you a nice cake like that.

Our kids usually asked me to bake them a rhubarb cream cake when they were growing up... it's a family favorite.

We have an unstyled John Deere B. My husvand uses it to mow or to blade our yard... or to pull our grandkids around for a sled ride, winter or summer. LOL

Happy birthday young man! 30 years ago I was 15 and dragging old tractors home too. Now I am 45 and still dragging them home. As many othes have stated, it's good to see younger people interested in them. That's a good looking cake too! Be sure to share it with your dad!

I didnt read it far enough to see you shared with your father. I had that privilege also. My dad always said I was his best birthday present! Hopefully your father feels the same.
