Farmall expert?

I seem to have gotten a reputation as being an 'expert' on Farmall/IH tractors.I just this morning got a call from a local man about a 1066 PTO. Over the years,I get frequent calls. Some from other
parts of the country. Even got a call from Austrailia and England.It is the internet,particulary this site,YT that makes it happen. It letsthe world open up to us all. I am honored. However,I really
dont consider myself as an expert. There are lots of folks that know a lot more than I do. I just like to talk and share what knowledge that I do have.And I have gotten to talk with some pretty
interesting people.Just rambleing here........

I have my grandpas 52 ih farmall since 73 and a 454 international.
They have been semi retired along with me.

Same here but with Oliver. I've owned a lot of models, broke about everything you can break on one and probably fixed it twice to get it right, but no service school training or service bulletins in my library. I was at a flea market in Kentucky one time and somebody at a booth up on a hill yelled ''Hey Oliver man''. I didn't even know him, but he knew me.

You guys can be Mr. Modest if you want . If there is discussion on Farmall M's, I print it off and put all of it in a notebook to use for future questions when working on mine. Thank you, All very much and keep up the good work!!!!
 
I use to get those calls and visits. HAve spent hours on the phone, had folks stay overnight before. Its funny, to hear what others think of some of the forum members then. I occasionally hear from some of them.
