That is interesting. That design serves the ND location
and makes sense. The Farmhand I remember was a series
of manure/ utility loader that were fabricated in Green Isle
Mn. where that Hawkeye style wouldnt serve well.

Neat... quite a contraption.

When we bought our Farmall Regular, the guy showed us a photo of the Regular when it had a Farmhand loader on it. He said his dad and grandpa used it in constructing a barn on that farm.

Lots of them in Kansas in the 50's and 60's. Never saw any with the gate at the
end of the teeth.

Dad had an attachment for the jungle jim Dearborn loader on a 9N and 8N similar to
this, except it had a push off to push hay or bales off of the teeth. The teeth tips
did not lower down to unload.

The loader is a Farmhand model F 10 with a push off for putting up loose hay. Model came out
in the mid 50's and was replaced by the F10D in early 60's. In my county nearly every ranch
had at least one. I still have one .

Yours has a push off. Which I have never
seen on a Farmhand. In the down
position, the push off should be in the
fully back location. It is shown in the
forward or pushed off position.
I don't see how the push off was
activated other than cables shown.

The Dearborn mentioned below used a
single acting cylinder to push off. Roger
