We have an International Harverter, and we thought it was a 1975. Here is the serial number- 026253BRZ
Can anyone help with verifying the year? We're having electrical problems with it and need to know if 1975 is correct.
We seem to be chasing a ghost in figuring out the problem.
Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Gonna need a picture.

Or at least more of what is on the data plate.

Probably not a USA built model.

A model number has to match a serial number,we need a model number of the tractor, with that B on the the end it looks suspicious! Is it British?

How about pictures showing the entire tractor?

The raised numbers are just casting numbers and that same number would have been cast into 100's or thousands of that same housing. Sometimes they may be a part number but often are not. They were used to identify the raw castings from the foundry.

By the looks of the bell housing shape it looks to be one of the British made models like a 454,464,574 vintage if so the wiring is pretty simple on them. Mostly connector joints that cause problems on them and that cheap junk steel wire they used on all the tractors till later than those. If not steel it sure looks like it being silver coloered instead of the yellow copper color of most wire in vehicles.
