A question for you Canadians, does Canadian Tire sell a lot of farm supplies? I mentioned in the TSC thread about ours being dependent on CA customers, but Fort Frances ON does have a Canadian Tire. I have never been in it, we can't get past the Tim Hortons!

From my experience (stores in Parry Sound and Barrie) Canadian Tire offers little in the line of farm supplies. Rather it's more a home and outdoor living store, about like Runnings here in NY.

farm supplies as ? they sell pretty much anything. all kinds of tools , hyd. cylinders, hoses, electrical, battery's, tires, oils, electric motors, gas engines, compressors, presses, jacks, plumbing, hardware stuff, pretty much anything you can think of. BUT ... i see lots has made in china on it.

I wouldnt say Canadian Tire sells anything that is farm specific, but many tools ect. that would be used on a farm. I did by my last Milkhouse heater at Canadian Tire, and it said Milkhouse heater right on the box.
We have Co-op stores here that sell very farm specific items, like water bowls, pitch forks , milk filters, chicken feeders, bee boxes. Our Co-op store also has chic orders, so you can get chicks, turkey poults as well as feed to grow them.

I agree with the other comments but do remember a friend of mine buying a two cylinder John Deere (620?) a number of years ago that had Canadian Tire branded rear tires. They were far from new.

No livestock or live stock feed.
A simple test to find if a person is American or Canadian is to refer to Canadian Tire .
The American will say ' Canadian Tire " and the Canadian will pronounce it as " Crappy Tire ".
