Model Tractor Collection

Depends. When does a few become a collection? 6? 10? Ok, I suppose 20 makes a collection. Im not sure how many I have, but have heard here, I think, that if I can count them I dont have enough. Some were my toys as a kid, some were Iowa FFA collector models, and a few I added, well, just because. There are also several implements.

So did I, no direction or specialization, just stuff. I kept some of the models I drove and some toys my brother had, Brought $1k. Still got a footlocker of N scale trains I haven't touched in 30 years

I just have model tractors of the ones I got. Still have my 58, 59 and 60 baseball cards and a pile of licence plates.

When IH changed over to Case IH I bought 1 of each individual or set of the IH 1/64 Ertl made. At my age, I would like to downsize but I have not found a site
with values. Any ideas where to look?

I also have a few 1/16 Olivers. Some just because they caught my eye, one or two are Kentucky FFA collectable series and 1 is 1650 National Toy Show. I could
part with every one, except this 1650.

Here are just a few.

I suppose that sombody who asks about model tractor collections should mention their own. I have 6 1/16 ones, 1 1/32, and 5 1/64 ones. Here are the 1/16 ones: a Massey Harris 44 Special, an Allis Chalmers, a MM U, a MM 445, an Oliver 88 rowcrop, and a Farmall(after I bought the Farmall I didn't want it, no offense to the Farmall likers). The 1/32 is an Overtime tractor. My 1/64s are two Case steamers(one in pretty good condition, the other not so much), an orange Case 500, an Allis Chalmers D19, and a MM G5000. Not much of a collection, but I like it.

Got a few. Haven't added to the collection for several years now. I've given some to a grandson, and I'll give some to a great grandson when he is old enough.

I have a sizeable collection.1/64 to 1/16...Most are on shelves in my garage.A few of the more special are in the house.

I still have all of my Tru-Scale tractors and equipment from the 1960's in the attic. Probably 15 to 20 pieces. All in great shape - they only farmed on mom's carpet in the living room, were stored in the barn under the coffee table. Been thinking about selling them to put the $'s in real equipment I can use, as we have no kids and none of our nephews or niece show any sign of marrying, let alone having kids.

I have a couple of dozen 1:64, most of which are on my farm diorama.

I have six 1:16 including two I have owned in 1:1, a John Deere 750 and a Farmall F12/14.

I built a 67 loader and a rotary mower out of brass to go with it, also modeled after 1:1 implements I owned.

I also (briefly) owned a 420 dozer, so I picked up a broken toy off Ebay, repaired it and added a dozer blade. I've since made tracks for it but don't have a picture.

The 1:1 was a disaster and by the time I totaled the parts needed to fix it, I decided to cut my losses. Fortunately, I was able to part it out for a tad more than I paid for it.

that reminds me the insurance company wants a detailed list of my collection. I have
around 350 1/16 scale many are collector but some specials, a few one of a kinds. Lots
of John Deere that I grew up with.Quite a few of the 1st round Ertl precisions. Cant
afford a real one. Got a couple real Farmalls.
