is this tool box of any value, like from a tractor? or it just has the ih name on it for no reason.

Looks like a utility tool box, (missing it's top tray) sold by dealership parts departments as part of their hardware line. IH dealerships still carry such items.
 
I am not sure the manufacture means IHC ,more than likely it means used by all companys as a international item !

I may be wrong but I dont think that the tool storage box company International has any affiliation to the tractor and implement company. Wingnut
 
think you are right also. it just looked too flimsey when you compare it to the 60 series tool boxes.
 
It's not that old with the metric measurements on there beside the English ones. I doubt it has any connection to IHC by the looks of the building on there either.
