John Deere 9400 combine with Hillco head leveling

The combine forum section is a little quite this time of year, so I will post my question here. My question concerns a John Deere 9400 with a Hillco leveling device on the face of the combine feeder house. No heads available that have the required parts. This attachment allows the head to follow the ground contour independent of the combine wheels. The unit itself is very similar to the John Deere 6620 sidehill throat regarding how it pivots. This one has a hydraulic cylinder underneath that either retracts or extends with the cylinder at halfway being level. I assume John Deere offerred something similar as well under the name of Contour Master?? As I stated this one is a Hillco. I assume everything needed on the combine is there, but what do you need on the head to make this Hillco work? Again there are no heads to look at. First picture shows the Hillco at the front of the combine (poor picture). Second one is the company that produced it. Any idea of what needs to be attached to a head to make it work? Did they work well? Cost? Thanks.

Hilco has been around a long time. Must be good. Easiest most accurate way to find out what you need and cost would be to call Hilco.

You might want to post over on New Agtalk. They frequently have posts from the Palouse region in Washington state regarding hillside combines. I think you would likely get some knowledgeable responses if you posted in either the machinery and/or the crop forums on that website.

The Hillco unit is attached in front of the regular John Deere throat. I should have taken a picture of the Hillco unit.

I believe the combine platform only needs to have the driveshafts like a PTO shaft. As opposed to the straight drive. As the header tips to the left or right the drives must flex accordingly. My response assumes that the Hillco attachment allows an older machine like the 9400 to flex like the newer Deere machines. My 9550 has contour master. Im unsure whether cm was offered on the 10 series.
