The early Ford or Ferguson tractors came from factory with narrower rims, the replacement rims are too wide for 12.4 tire to look good. Need at least a 13.6 for the 10 inch rim to look good.

No law saying you can't.

1" narrow on the rims is no big deal. 2" makes it a little harder to squeeze the tires on without pinching the tube, but if you're extra careful it can be done. Cheap tires tend to be a little undersize and more pliable, and will be a little easier to put on 2" too narrow rims.

yep. my 411 case has 14.9x38 on 12 inch rims.that gotta go before long. think im going 15.5 x 38 easier to find along with new rims. calcium kinda worked on em

Go with design width rim if you can 10 inch or drop to the 8 inch design . Waste of money ,you will have better traction fuel economy with the quality tire for 8 inch . What I suggest
