Hart ELECTRIC Battery power chain saw

Battery life expectancy ????THIS is All No Good !,.. SWell , I was able to cut honestly 4 pikup truckloads of wood last year. Now , It is season 2, The battery only lasted 20 minutes on some rather challenging green maple.after a overnite charge. . Had a fine sharp chain too!. I figure that is About twice as long as joeor hunter biuden wood last WORKING on the Firewood pile. LOL... My parents raised ME to WORK, My Dad would totally go off on Walmart for selling such inferior junk that only works a half hour and is wanting to go home. When We were building America. It took us a hard long Day ! ... What future will our Grandkids will have ?,,. if They dont learn the values that made this country GREAT

That's why I will stick to my Jonsered's, They will start and cut a load of wood anytime! I have 4 of them,2 are about 50 years old. I'm really disappointed that Husqvarna dropped them. I have some battery drills, they are handy, but I haven't found replacement batteries that last very long.

Battery powered quipement is great, but they really need to come up with a standard for the batteries, so you can swap them from brand to brand and tools to tools, if of the same category of power.

This would have allowed to use your chainsaw battery on something else, and keep it in good order, and also invest in 2 or three batteries.

i got the big dewalt 1/2 drive impact that gets used hard.battery stays up well. then as bad as i have to say it my bauer 3/8 impact and 4 inch angle grinder both do great for what they are..i expect that from dewalt ,wasnt expecting the bauer to do as well but im happy

I bought one of those Harbor Freight electric chainsaws, I had some tricky work to do on a ladder, and liked the idea of not having to start it on my perch.
Battery life is about 45 minutes. Charging time over 4 hours. I bought a second battery. I'll be cutting serious wood once we move in, and a "real" saw is on my wish list

They make adaptors so you can use one battery on all cordless
tools. I use 20v 5a dewalt or 20v 6a aftermarket batteries on
all my tools, even my old 18v dewalt tools. Amazon and ebay sell
adapters.
I have made adaptors for HF tools.

Walmart?? You expect anything less from them? Not really known as a quality tool store...... I always heard, you get what you pay for ....

How long would a strong healthy human with a Swede saw or dock saw need to cut the same amount of the same wood that your disappointing chain saw cut in twenty minutes?

You bought the CHEAPEST tool on the market, and you expect it to perform and have the longevity of an expensive quality tool?

When we were building America, a quality chainsaw cost more than a week's wages. $99 and a Werther's Original has not been a week's wages in a long long time.

Cordless junk is just that junk. I have a cordless drill and impact. I'll use it till the batteries go bad then no more for me. I'll take my corded tools they never get tired nor not work because of a dead battery. I've used or owned Milwaukee ,Default Ryobi,Rigid, and some others I can't remember. Not one of them lasted that well in the battery department. I've seen dad with several different brand chainsaws all of the battery models he had had problems with. His Stihl's have been pretty good though he would not be happy unless they started themselves up for him.
