HLA attachments and Horst Welding

Do any of our Canadian friends know of HLA and Horst? They are in the area of Listowel, Ontario. Anyone use their loader adapters and attachments?

I own and have sold Horst products for a lot of years. In general they make good quality stuff. We have really had good luck with their bale wagons and such. Most brands get destroyed over time but so far we never have had a Horst broken.

I've got s Horst quick attach on my loader. I bought some steel and made one for the other loader so I can use the buckets and attachments on either loader. They used better steel than the new stuff that I bought. I'm thinking mine's an HL 5 maybe?

I have an HLA scrap grapple bucket and that thing is tuff. I've used and abused it with a 100hp 12,000lb skid steer behind it clearing fence lines and it has took everything I've thrown at it without any damage. Only attachment I've bought that hasn't required repairs along the way.

Thanks for your replies. We have a custom adapter on order for an old New Idea loader. It is being made by HLA adapters. Good to hear the nice comments. This New Idea is old enough that it had a bucket permanently pinned to it and since this old bucket was badly bent, broken and welded, an adapter was in order to get it functional again using different attachments. The loader itself is in good condition.

I have Horst running gear two 12 ton gear under forage wagons and a 20 ton bale wagon. I had a bale grapple and also have bought a skid steer and tractor loader buckets from Horst. Good quality and can build custom equipment for obsolete equipment.

Got some Horst wagons 20 plus years old and still working. Their shop is a large one with every modern piece of welding equipment....yet the parking lot is all horse and buggies....Amish owned and operated.

Horst builds the best wagons on the market in my opinion. We've got some here close to 40 years old. They build durable quality products.
I also have an HLA universal skid adapter for a farm loader. It's well built but I did have some fitment issues with it and had to modify it to get correct rollback angle. Some of that stuff I think is a bit of a universal fit for some older loaders and they supply block kits to make buckets fit... but I wasn't going to refit attachments that already fit my skid properly so I modified the adapter mounts. So I'd watch that, with any company I was buying an adapter plate from to fit an old loader.
Horst/HLA is a good company to deal with and have excellent well priced products.

All my Global/Euro loader attachments are HLA, no issues, very well built.

I also have an older Horst running gear, was well wore when I got it and it's still solid.
