2090 Case moves snow

I didn't feel like facing the East wind at -10F on the open John Deere running the snow blower on my driveway today. So I took the comfortable option and used the 2090 Case and 8 foot dozer to work in comfort and push out a trail across the wheat stubble so I could get to town for the first time in a couple of weeks. As I expected there was less snow in the field than there was on the driveway. Dull and snowy so not a very scenic day but probably the best we are going to get this week according to the forecast.

Always good to have a second plan of attack. The old caddy looks abandoned.
I had to make the same kind of road to the cows yesterday , but I had no cab on the 560. That wind sure was biting

I wish the Eldo could be indoors but I am literally out of indoor storage. Even my Blazer has sat out for the winter so far.
Yes its a different world working in a cab. I could do that all day in this weather. In fact it was getting too hot as I was dressed for -10F temps and the heater was putting plenty of heat to keep the windows clear.

(quoted from post at 07:21:13 12/20/22) I used to work for a case dealer when the 2090s were new. A lot of them and 2290s were sold through our dealership.
They were a very popular series here too and plenty of them still on the job. Not too many are 8 speed standards like this one.

Good video Ralph. Whenever you post video of running your 2090 I get nostalgic for my old 2290. Only tractor I ever bought new and ran it for about 26 years.

Thanks Jim. Hard to imagine that tractor is over 40 years old now. It was a year or two old when I bought it. Right about 400 hours on it so its the closest I've ever come to owning a new tractor. I guess I'll run it til I cant anymore. Or we cant afford diesel fuel and have to go electric. Guess that would work well today with wind chill factors in the -50 range.
