I have two 44 B's. One of them still has the original steering wheel that was covered with some kind of material made with soybeans due
to the rubber shortage at the time. Their serial numbers are close enough that it is possible they were built on the same day. Neither
of them still have the original streel wheels.
 
I also have 44 B with the covered steering wheel that is odd. When I bought it I thought someone had hot rod shop recover the wheel I saw one other like it on an H about the same age, but that is all. It's kind of a mottled gray color. I think pretty rare, I rplaced it with a normal one and hung it in the barn for safekeeping.
