By the time I took those pics I had drained most of the water out, it was about 6 deep. And just after I got a new batch of feeder pugs too. Not good to get them ll wet the day they show up.

So got to spend most of Sunday cleaning the barn. Got it pretty well drained and new bedding in so hopefully everything will be OK.

Funday Sunday!

Maybe you can rig up a sump pump floating switch at a low spot to shut off the pump?

Been raising pigs all along, just getting more and started breeding this year when feeders went to $100 plus. First batch didn't go so well so I bought more.

My Dad said one time, he was talking about pigs, he says ya know they got a lot of time on their hands. If there's something that they can get loose to twist or turn they'll find it.

My neighbor says work on sunday, fix on monday. I never seen them do more then feed cows on sunday.

Jon I feel for you. After walking into the barn with a broken drinking cup a few times I would shut the water off at night during cold weather and be the first thing to turn on in the morning. Happy you were able to get it fixed. Had a neighbor who had a small red light that would come on when pump was running and they could see light from the kitchen window.
