Have you seen those results?

420k for little oak

150k for a gas 3020 hfwd!

100k for a 4020!

90k for a well restored Minneapolis 17-30B : On tractorhouse auctions, average price for a running one id 10K.

All of this shows that a pristine restoration on a somewhat rare model pays for.

Some very nice tractors and some big prices. If my tractors were that nice I would never want to use them and using them is the fun for me.

I get ad's for Mecum and don't even open them. They're not inline with anyone on else.
or serious collectors only

I enjoy using tractors, too.
The most pricey tractors are often the least useable ones: High crops way to high to climb on them. Orchard with poor traction and clumsy controls.

That 150k 3020 hfwd with ugly standard fenders, gas powershift cannot get hits 8th gear on a 4% incline.
I would much rather own a 2wd 3020 with a 239T, or stretched to be like an Argentinian 3420.
