2140 Update

Finally got around to testing out the JD 2140 with the new fuel injectors. Not a real cold start test as it was in the shed and plugged in for 3 hours. Started better than summer time. Seems to be less smokey at idle too. I installed the snow blower and moved a little snow. No fuel leaks so I'm calling it a success. No video yet. Just a shot from the trail camera.

(quoted from post at 20:40:19 11/23/22) Sounds good rusty6. Hopefully you dont have to wear out that snow blower this winter.
Me too. That snow blower is older than the tractor. My dad bought the McKee econo plow back about 1975 and it has moved a lot of snow over the years. Built in Elmira, Ontario. They were also sold as John Deeres being painted green and yellow.

How hard was it to get the injectors seated? I recall you where having some problems with that. What did you have to do?

My 2440 may need the same thing soon. Thanks Rusty.

They were just a good tight fit to install. I did use a slight tap with a plastic hammer. All seem good with no leaks now its running.
