Need Old continental belton auger PTO drive shaft

I have a old continental belton 3-pt auger from my grandpa and I need to buy a PTO drive shaft for it. Model is QP and SN is:6134

I tried my local drive shaft place and they told me they couldn't build one like that. Any thought?

Any pictures of what you need? Can't help
without seeing what you need.

Some old types of powerline are no longer
available. You may have to innovate to a
newer style.

I have the side that attaches to the auger as you can see in the picture. It is the other half that hooks up to the tractor that is missing.

I googled a QP continental belton auger and it looks like a simple shaft coming out of the gearbox
attaching to a PTO yoke.

Tractor Supply or other stores similar, have a variety of PTO parts that could possibly be adapted
to what you have and made to work. I would think any PTO shaft the proper length where the yoke
fits the shaft coming out of the gearbox could be made to work.

What size is the shaft at the gearbox? IS the PTO yoke mounted with a keyway or a shear bolt?

It's either going to be a Weasler 6 series or 12 series PTO shaft.

Looks like a 6 from here.

All the parts you need, up to and including entire new shafts, are as close as your local Tractor Supply or Farm store. Any machinery dealer could also help you.

You could remove the shear bolt from the shaft on the gearbox, and the remaining half of the PTO shaft will slide off. Underneath is probably a 1" or 1-1/4" round axle. Nothing special.

Take the half of the shaft you have with you so you can match it up.

Just be warned, it won't be cheap. The least expensive will be to get the matching half of the shaft, the 540 PTO yoke, and the cross bearing.

Well it is 1 1/16", the local drive shaft place acted like it was a oddball size these days and couldn't do anything with is, which seems off since I have the auger side of the shaft intact.

If you know what the 2 ends are, just start over with an entirely new shaft. Surely the driveshaft place can start with a 100% new one?
